The music featured here is from an album entitled Imprisoned Splendor, written and produced by David Watson. Watson, a Northern California artist of long standing chose Jaimeo as his drummer and when the subject of Funk came up, Jaimeo suggested his Father Dartanyan Brown to handle the bass duties. The rest of the section is filled out with Archie Williams on guitar (great soulful solo at about 00:01:30). The entire album, which features straight ahead Jazz, Ballads and Rhythm & Blues numbers is the first album which the father and son rhythm seciton is featured.
